Four Month Check-Up

Today you guys had your four month check-up and it was a shot appointment.. I was so worried, your dad and I went back and fourth as to whether or not we were going to give them all at once to you or break them up.. We did end up giving them all at once, Dr. Gali informed us that millions of kids get them and so on .. so we went ahead and did it.. but I watched you all night long, you both did great.. these are some pics of you two when we got home...

Update: Drew had a "High Fever" the next morning around 103 degree's.. Mark had that Friday off and was letting me sleep in when around 7:00 am I heard her crying and it just wasn't a normal cry.. I asked him to bring her up to me and the minute he handed her to me she was on fire.. He didn't realize it because he always run so hot himself.. I took her temperature in her ear and it was 103.. I have to admit I did handle it well.. at the same time I was trying my best not to panic.. I called my sister and she told me to take her clothes off and give her some Tylenol.. We have never just given them Tylenol before so Mark really didn't want to.. but I was willing to give it to her, he just wanted to wait until the doctor office said to give it to her, but I wasn't waiting.. I finally got through to someone at the doctors office around 7:30 am and she said the same thing Jamie told me, I asked her if I should take her outside to cool her off and she said no just to wait until the fever came down and not to check her over and over again but maybe ever hour.. So Mark and I checked her every five minutes or so until it went down.. We weren't able to wait an entire hour to see if she was OK or not.. sorry we are new parents.. we pretty much just stared at her until she felt better.. I felt so bad for her, the one day I decided to sleep in..

P.S. Brody was fine.. No fever..

Rainforest Jumper.. First Time

Today I went out and bought Drew and Brody this "Jumper" thing its like a Johnny Jumper only you don't have to put it in the door way, anyways- my parents had one at there house for Sophia and Talon and I put my two in it to see if they liked it and the did.. so I went out and go them there own.. here they are for the first time in it..

Brody really just sat there in it and looked around.. he didn't jump or anything but he did like all of the gadgets around him that he could chew on..

Drew liked it from the moment I put her in it.. she kinda got the idea of jumper after I showed her how to, but for the most part she also just liked to stand there and chew on everything..

They both lasted about 20 minutes in it.. but I will take any kind of break I can get..

4 Months Old Today.......How Big you two have gotten..

Wow - you guys are so big, I cant believe how fast it is going.. you have learned to do so much in this short time.. lets do a run down of all that you two have learned to do in four short months...

We will start with Drew... aka Mama's - in four short months you have learned to.....

1) Slept through the night.. January 28th, 2007 you slept 8 hours and 45 minutes ( 3 mths old)
2) You recognized who Mommy and Daddy are at (2 months old)
3) "Rolled Over" on January 13th, 2007 - 3 days before you turned ( 3 mths old )
4) You were also starting to crawl right before you turned ( 4 mths old )

Here is your four month shot.. in your cute Gymboree outfit...You are the most beautiful little girl I ever did see.. you are going to be a pistol like your momma..


Now onto Brody and all that he has learned to do... these are all the things that you learned to do before you turned four months..

1) Slept through the night...December 12th, 2006.. You slept 7 hours total at (2 months old)
2) You recognized who Mommy and Daddy are at (2 months old)
3) You turned over on February, 27th 2007 at (4 months old)

Here is what you looked like at four months old... You are the sweetest little guy ever, all's you want to do is cuddle and smile.. you are two cute..

"First" Valentine's Day...

Today started off "Amazing"... I got a knock at the door around 9am.. with this beautiful arrangement of flowers from Drew & Brody & Daddy... Now that is the way to start your "Valentine's Day" off... They smell so good.. and look awesome on my Island... today was Drew & Brody's first V-Day so I wanted to do something special however they are just to small.. so we went and got our "V-Day" gift ready for daddy when he got home... The kids got him all different kinds of beer and this really cute "Monster" Love Balloon..

I put the twins on the table in their "Bumbo" chairs and we surprised daddy when he walked in the door...
Nana Claire & Papa Jim got the kids these cute "Monkeys".. & Auntie Jamie got them the chalkboard cups with there V-Day shirts....

Later that night we meet over at my parents house for some "Cousin" time and for dinner & dessert.. Here we are in our "Family Shot"... Here are Brody & Drew on there own...And here I had all the little cousin's together for a shot.. Dylan & Skyler didn't want their picture taken tonight...

Superbowl Sunday At "Nana & Papa's House"...

Today we went to my parents house to watch the "Superbowl" game.. The Colts defeated the Bears 29-17.. It was a fun game however we didn't win any money this year.. which sucked !! Anyways we did have fun hanging out together.. I got there a little early to set everything up for the twins, the playpen, food ect.. They had fun with there cousin's once they all got there.. Here are some pics from the day..

My sister Jamie bought Drew this cute headband that has a princess crown on it in rhinestone's it is so cute, she brought it to the hospital when she was born and I had used it for her first pictures at the hospital ( The horrible ones.. ) so I really wanted a cute picture of her in this before she got to big.. and it barely fit her.. but I think she looks cuter in this shot than the first.. I love you baby girl...

First Walk Up To "Nana & Papa's House"...

Today I decided to walk up to my parents house with the kids.. and go for a nice long walk.. But man was it a hot day that I decided to do this.. I couldn't believe how long it took to get there.. not to mention I had to push the Snap N' Go.. up this hill.. I looked like I was going to die.. anyways I made it and all of the cousin's were awake so they all got to play together.. I took a few pictures of them all hanging out..
