Ella's First Birthday...

Saturday, September 29th, 2007

Today we are celebrating Ella's First Birthday at Kim's parents house... I cant believe how fast this year flew by... she is such a sweet little girl.. Drew and Brody had a great time there, her parents had this kitchen set up for the girl's and Brody LOVED it.. he was playing house with Cait, Ella and Drew.. it was so cute.. Looks like I know what Santa is going to bring them next year ... Anyways, they had there first chocholate cupcake, without the frosting Brody didnt really care for it, but Drew LOVED it.. they had a lot of great toys to play with and they had a ball with all of them.. and Ella well she did a fantastic job on eating her First Bday cake...

Go Ella.. She is so cute and has her perfect little bow in her her with her beautiful little polka dot dress...and then decieds its time to go to town.... she went for it.. cake was everywhere- she did a great job tearing it apart... Happy First Birthday Ella !!!

They had a lot of fun toys that D+B never saw before, Brody fell in love with this tunnel- he would climb in it, then look back to see if you were going to get him...

and Drew found some balls... her favorite, ever since we got them there blow-up little house she Loves the plastic balls... so she gathered up as many as she could hold onto ...After about 5 minutes of trying to get a picture of all three of them.. and about 20 shots later I got one picture that's pretty good- at least you can see there faces..

And here it is... the reason that I am getting Drew and Brody there own little kitchen to play with.. Brody saw this and never left it.. he LOVED it.. he was playing kitchen with all of the girls.. it was so cute.. I love this picture of him on his toes... cleaning.. hahaha- So next year this is what Santa's bringing them, but most likely in red not pink...

Cait, Brody, Ella and Drew, making dinner...

Brody playing in the sink... ( they had a little bit of water in the sink )

Irvine Park .. Pumpkin Patch and Park Day....

Sunday, September 23rd, 2007

We had so much fun a couple of days ago we decided to bring them back again, but for the pumpkin patch.. it was closed the last time we were here, and D+B had another great time here.. they ran/crawled all over the place.. they had a maze and bounce house that maybe next year they can go to.. but they had a great time looking at the pumpkins, and Drew loved running with her leaves she found on the ground..

I saw this sign and loved the background so I plopped them onto the ground and took a few shots.. This was a funny sign they had at the pumpkin patch that I made Mark hold them up to...
They both wanted to come through it...

Here's a shot of Drew running with her leaves, she thought I was going to take them when really I was just trying to get a shot of her with them...

Since Brody was still learning how to walk he crawled for most of the time, unless he was walking with me or daddy.. he laughed and smiled all day...

After so time over at the pumpkin patch area we decided to go over to the park and find a spot so they both can just run and have fun... so after driving around the whole area.. we finally found a spot, but then realized that across the street was a better spot.. anyways, we finally made our picnic and spent a long time out there just letting them run and play.. Brody didn't go to far away, but Drew took off every chance she had and never looked back- daddy ended up chasing her all day around the field.. But they both were fast asleep the moment the got in the car...

I love this shot of Brody, it just shows how little he is.. and his butt looks so cute too.. and here's Drew's backside.. too cute

Today is the first day I ever saw my little sweet Drew decide that when she has something its hers.. and don't touch it... This is my water bottle and Drew wanted to carry it around so I said whatever.. go ahead, but when I went to get it back so I can have a drink... the meltdown began.. I couldn't believe it I thought how does she know to do this.. so here is a picture of her listening to her daddy as he explains to her that she can have it back after mommy gets a drink from it...

And this is 5 second later as she walks away with it again...

Brody again, didn't really like the way the grass felt so he stayed on the blanket with me for the rest of the day.. he had a good time trying to get into the cooler..

Car Show- Surprise Mom and Dad !!!

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

Today we decided to surprise my parents and show up to the car show that there in with the Convertible Chevy 57'.. it will be our first one that we attended.. So, we packed the kids up in the car - hit up McDonald's for some breakfast after attempting to go to IHOP or Paul's Pantry they were totally booked.. and unloaded the kids.. of course it started to drizzle .. but thankfully it quickly ended.. and I was getting out the money to pay at the window, out of nowhere the loudest noise ever came shooting out of the race car next to us.. I couldn't believe how LOUD.. it was.. and it continued for about 5 minutes.. and the babies were crying and screaming - they were so scared, I felt so bad for them.. the timing of us walking in couldn't have been any worse, so we finally got them calmed down after a few minutes.. and we were off again to surprise my parents... as we walked in through the gate we really had no idea as to were there are I looked up and saw my mom and dad walking towards us.. they didn't see us, so I yelled out to them and they couldn't believe it... they were going to get something from there car... and showed us where to go for the car.. and to meet them..

Here's Nana and Papa with there car.. aka my car in the future...

To be honest car shows are not my "cup of tea"... but anyways.. in between it raining on us we did seem to manage to have some fun.. we went and walked around and found this huge "Monster Truck".. So we stuck the kids in the wheel of it...

Daddy in front of the "Monster Truck" with D + B...

You can see how big the tires are with looking at our "Little Man" inside of them... Then there was this cool race car- as we were walking past it I said to the owner can they take a picture in it.. kidding of course, but he said YES... and even pulled out a car seat for them to sit in.. They loved it...
Before we headed off, I sat both of them in my parents car.. they pulled on the steering wheel, played with the knobs, ect.. Again loving the car thing...

This is hilarious, this is the famous pink hummer that "Britney Spears" had in her video.. and she decided that she didn't want it after the video so this lady bought it.. My mom and her are friends and she drove my mom all around in this crazy car... you wouldn't know it by looking at her but lets just say her dropping $100 grand on this car was nothing...

Train and Zoo Day at Irvine Park.....

Friday, September 21st, 2007

Today was a beautiful day and Mark had the day off work so we decided to go to the Irvine Train and Zoo Park- We have never been there but all the neighborhood moms said how great it is.. so we packed up the car and kids and off we went.. First we went to were they had the train and horses.. ect, when we got there we noticed them setting up everything for a pumpkin patch- we weren't allowed in it, they said it starts tomorrow... of course, anyways they did let us take some pictures of them next to the pile of pumpkins, but that was all.. so while we were waiting for the train ride to start I snapped a few shots of them..

They really liked the pumpkins.. and there was so many of them to look at...

Then ALL-ABOARD.... Train time.. we got in line than found our seats.. Daddy took Bubba's and sat in the back and I took Mamma's and we sat in front of them... They Loved it.. It took us all around the park and the guy was telling us something about the area.. I don't know I wasn't listening, but anyways, so far it was a great idea coming out here...

Daddy and Bubba's.... Momma and Mamma's......
This was them for most of the ride.. looking everywhere.. I think they liked the wind in their hair....but they laughed and screamed at each other for most of the time.. it was to cute..
This is when we got off.. it was the best shot I could get of the two of them.. Off to the Zoo...
This is the place that I tried really hard to get my wolf "Chomperz" into.. I was willing to pay whatever if they could take him for me... but the only wanted Mexican Wolves here.. so anyways, I get a little sad when I think about it.. but it was a lot smaller than I remember.. most of the animals were sleeping so we didn't see to much here.. they have a lot of birds.. I don't like birds so I blew through that.. but they had room for D+B to somewhat run around.. it wasn't crowded at all...This picture makes me laugh I didn't realize it when I took it-look at the sign behind her.. Drew was all over the place, and wouldn't stand still for nothing..

Brody liked to hang onto all of the fences.. luckily there were two fences.. but I think he enjoyed it..

It was a great day and the kids were wore out.. I think we might be coming back this weekend again for the "Pumpkin Patch".. We shall see..

Sesame Street Pic's from JCPenny's....

Sunday, September 16th, 2007

Ok, Well most of you know that I am very picky about where and who takes my kids pictures.. I rcvd my Parenting Magazine and in there was an ad for JCPenny's saying that they had a Sesame Street background.. no one else did so I thought since I am having an Elmo and Zoe theme Bday and I wanted everyone to sign these mats that I had I can put there picture in them and have it be the ones with the Sesame Street background... Cute Right... anyways, I was really surprised how well they did.. only because they have the kids on the floor.. however they don't have a stationary camera... so at least they can move when the kids move.. again anyways, they turned out so cute.. I was very happy with them..

Nana Claire and Papa Jim gave them the little Elmo and Zoe that they are holding in this shot...
The Background was really great...very detailed..
The only bad thing with JCPenny's is that I had to wait 3 weeks to get these pictures.. I thought she was kidding when she told me that.. but she wasn't.
