Pool Time....

Today was such a hot day again we decided to take the kids to the pool.. we walked over to the "Avendale" pool.. they had a "One and Half" foot pool there, it will be the first time that we took them to that pool.. I thought it would be easier and would be able to give them more freedom to walk around...

We loaded them and all there stuff up in the wagon and we were off.. we ran into our neighbor's Jay & Kim who said they are going to go there after Cait & Ella wake up from there naps...
They had a great time splashing in the little pool.. when they needed a break they would get out and get there snacks.. it was so cute.. These are the little bathing suits that Uncle Mike & Auntie Jamie got them for Easter...

Drew must have gotten out 6 times to eat her "Cheetos"...
Then the girls showed up and they had a blast with them..

They did so good here.. we were here for a total of "THREE" Hours.. I couldn't believe it.. after this shot we walked back home with them and got ready for dinner....

Kaden's "2nd" Birthday Party...

Today we had Kaden's "2nd" birthday party.. and we had a great time, it was a hot day and Auntie Billie Jo had a lot of fun things planned for the kids.. Drew & Brody had such a great time in the "bounce house".. They were in that for most of the day...
Here is Kaden's Cake.. It was a "Cupcake" - Cake.. so cute...
Both Cody & Hanna had "Baseball" game's today so they weren't able to stay long, so I grab this shot of the five of them before they left.. Drew like normal lately..wasn't happy for a group shot..The boys had a great time together.. they both took each other down so many times.. here is Brody taking Kaden down.. Auntie Billie Jo mentioned to me that she is going to have the kids decorate cookie's.. Let's just say that this is our third cookie party so I really knew what to expect.. Brody did however throw a curve ball at me with the frosting...

While Brody was listening to his Uncle Ben, he decided to grab the plastic knife and have a little taste of the frosting...
Drew noticed Brody tasting the frosting and decided she wanted some to...
Kaden really enjoyed watching the sprinkles go everywhere...What a mess... look at the table now.. hahahaha - Notice that there is only one cookie with frosting on it, its the one that Ben demonstrated.. hahahaha, to funny...But all's that matters is that the kids had a great time.. and they did...

This was such a great way to get the kids clean.. it was either this or hose them off.. They had this really cool water toy, where it sprayed the kids and they could walk through it.. They loved it..Drew loved the water fountain parts of it...
Brody was so sugared up at this point... he had fun splashing the other kids..

After Drew was washed off.. she decided to climb in the "Bounce House" for some more fun....
Uncle Ben, Auntie Billie Jo and Kaden.. Happy Birthday Sweetie.. Papa Bill & Nana Darlene with the birthday boy...And Uncle Mark & I with Kaden right before we left.. We had such a great time.. the kids were tried as could be and slept so good that night.. I didn't here a peep out of them..

"Four" Years Together.... Happy Anniversary...

Today we celebrated our fourth wedding anniversary... We had Nana Darlene come up to watch the kids after we put them to bed..We went to "Rip Tide"... A Sushi place for dinner and it was really good we sat at the Sushi Bar this time.. We had a nice night together...

"18" Month Check-Up...

Today is not only our "Four" year anniversary, it is the kids year and half check-up... Everything checked out great with the both of them...This time they got there shot's in there arm's.. which was different..

Brody Weighed ________ and was ________ Tall

They had a snack while we were waiting for the doctor to come in...

First up was Brody, he did so good.. kinda to good, he didnt even cry when he got them.. I think he is going to have a "High" Tolerance to pain.. Anyways, after Brody came Drew and she was a different story, I dont think the shots bothered her as much as having her daddy hold her arm's down.. she just can't stand to be held down...So while the nurse went to give her the first shot Drew moved her arm and she missed but gave her a good scratch on her arm..So instead of her getting three shots she had to get four because they had to re-do the first shot.. I felt so bad for her... But after they were fine...

UpDate: They both had "No Reaction's" to the shots.. no fever or anything...

First Time to the "San Diego Zoo"...

We got to the Zoo bright and early, we had breakfast at the hotel and we were off.. It was so cold there, I had the kids in shorts but I quickly changed them to there jeans and sweater/flannel.. The first place we went to was the "Monkey's".. and they loved them, we let them walk around and they just starring at them and smiling.. I was trying to video tape them and take pictures..

The "Orangutan's" playing.. They are my favorite..The monkey's would roll by the front of the glass in front of the kids and they would just laugh at them...it was so cute..Drew would just stare at them.. and she wasn't scared which was nice..They also loved the "Ugly Pig" things... The "Flamingo's" were so pretty...And Peacock...The "Koala's are also one of my favorite's, the kids couldn't really see them, but I loved them..Then we got to the "Elephant's" and Drew freaked out.. I had to take her as she was clawing her way from her daddy.. and Brody loved them.. The "Polar Bear's" were sleeping but we did get a family shot by the metal one's outside the exhibit...Before we left we had the kids to a cartoon drawing that turned out so cute.. The "Zoo" was great cant wait to bring them back again..

Well today didn't start off to well for us.. I had planned to go to "Farrell's Ice Cream Place".. with the kids before we checked into the hotel.. There was suppose to be one left in San Diego, this was a place that I went to all the time as a kid, only I went to the one in La Habra.. We always had our birthday parties there and I wanted my kids to experience it.. but when we got there it was already closed.. I was so bummed.. but I got over it and we went to check in at the hotel early...

They loved the room.. they ran all over it, It was a suite so they had two rooms to run around in..We borrowed two playpens from my mom and sister and they slept in them next to the bed.. They did so good not a peep out of them..
Drew found her favorite thing.. "The Remote"... And Bubba's helped daddy get some ice for his beer...
I made them a little area in the living room with there blanket and toys.. It was snack time here..
After we went out to the "Seaport Village" a nice little area to walk around by the water and they had shops and stuff...they were also flying kites there and Brody and Drew quickly made new friends with these three siblings and all were running around chasing the kites together..
They also had a great time chasing each other around the boardwalk...They had fun with daddy caring them together...

Then we all shared some yummy "Ben and Jerry's" Ice Cream...

This was our view from the room...This "Sofa' had a great time wrecking both Brody and Drew.. before we took the kids swimming at the pool Brody was playing around on it and smacked the side of his face on the arm rest which we found out after was rock hard and it left a huge bruise under his left eye.. then right before we took the kids to dinner Drew did the same thing only she hit her nose dead on.. which gave her a bloody nose, I couldn't believe it..

So I put them both on the "Sofa" for this picture before we left.. Bye Bye.. it was so much fun.. Both Drew and Brody did so good... They helped daddy pack up the cart and then off to the "San Diego Zoo"...
