Hat Fun....

Today was yet again another rainy day and what better to do but have some "Hat Fun" Sometimes they really like to wear hats but then other times when I need them to wear a hat they hate it.. Anyways here are some cute shots of them walking around with different hats..


Drew really likes her hat sideways, if you put it on her straight she will pull it off and hand it back to you.. Mark hates her wearing it sideways...

Brody goes back and fourth about a hat, he likes them when he see's Drew wearing one, but then out of no were he will ripe it off his head and through it on the ground..

Something to be Thankful for....

An Iverson Thanksgiving.....

ThanksGiving was Great- we started off with a nice family breakfast together.. then we went over to the park with the twins for some fun in the leaves.. They both really love the leaves..







The our first stop was over to the other Iverson house.. Paul and Brandye's they made a wonderful meal for all of us to enjoy !!! We had a Great time together...

This is a picture of Billie Jo and Ben.. for some reason on the holidays or party's I never get a picture of them.. so this time I was prepared and ready I saw Ben holding Kaden who was very calm and noticed Billie Jo getting her dinner and since Kaden was smiling and calm I said to Ben lets take a family picture.. he said sure we waited for Billie Jo to put her food down and when they sat down .. well I think the picture speaks for itself.. I do plan on trying this again at the next family event..PS Kaden was hungry....



Last we stopped by my parents house Nana Claire and Papa Jims.. It was full of energy like always.. a house with 6 kids under 5 years old...

This shot makes me laugh.. we tried the group shot a couple of times.. Jamie was trying to get the kids attention with the rope you see on the left.. Drew of course thought it was only hers..- Notice her shoe missing... Brody noticed that Drew wanted something that Auntie Jamie had so he decided that he also wanted it and took our little Skyler for a ride.. he though her to the left then to the right - but she hung onto him.. he ended up with his shirt up to his neck but she didn't let him go.. and Talon I don't think he much cared he had his Nana so he was happy.. and amongst all of this going on look at our sweet little Sophia.. smiling perfectly.. Thank God Jamie had the energy left after this shot to get the one below..



I really couldn't believe it... I was amazed because they were all a second before this shot going every direction possible...

James had a birthday party for him at my parents house with a bunch of his friends.. It was fun, we had "Huge" hamburger's and yummy food.. who can forget the cake... Anyways, it was a cold night and we couldnt stay to long..because of the kids bedtime.. but it was a fun night..

Santa....

Ok.. I cant stand it when the malls put Santa out there the first of November I mean who would go to him in November.. its not even Thanksgiving yet.. I even told Mark how upset I was that they already had him out there.. I called him from the mall, I even think that I just might have said it loud enough for Santa himself to hear !!! Ok, so here is the deal.. I went to the mall because I was thinking that I wanted to get all of my Christmas shopping out of the way.. everything, I didnt want to bring the kids there with all of the holiday crazy's out.. when I walked by Santa in discuss that he is there I noticed something.. they had no lines.. no lines because like most of us.. its not Christmas, RIGHT !! well I notice one other thing there was a little girl that was dressed up and she was talking to Santa, she just had her picture taken and since no one was there Santa was able to talk to her for as long as she wanted to.. and thats when it happened a light when off in my head- I can get the kids dressed up and bring them there in the morning and I will bring my video camera and have Santa talk to them that way I can take my own pictures not be rushed and then I would be all done and one more important thing I can order my Christmas cards and us the picture with Santa.. OMG PERFECT Right.. well lets just say that I got Drew and Brody dressed like most boys way easy shirt, pants and shoes.. and for Drew I had her pretty little pink Xmas dress with white fur trim and sweet little snowflake nylons with the cutiest little white shoes and her cute little pink hairclip.. So we walk into the mall and there are two people in front of us.. not bad, and from the line we are smiling to Santa, waving to him and finally its our turn.. I am ready video camera - check- my camera - check.. lets go make memories.. well within two seconds after walking up to Santa Drew takes one look at him and notices me ready to hand her to him and it was on from that very momment on.. the next thing I know is there's fur flying everywere, drew screaming and crying and pulling away from Santa and Santa face just straight up FEAR ... and so I say to him.. after I get Drew, we will try it one more time.. he in a very calm voice he said Honey I think we are done here.. I say again- nope one more time I want to get the video camera out, as I go to give Drew back to Santa she takes both hand grabs my neck and starts screaming in my face.. so I looked at Santa and I said I think we are done here.. so here it is... act surprised when you get my Christmas Card...Its all I had to work with..

Disneyland For The "First Time" .....

Ok, so we took the twins to Disneyland for the first time.. packed the car with just about everything we could think of and we were off to the happiest place on earth.. We went on a total of two rides Dumbo and Small world - No really that's all we went on....

Our Family Picture in front of the big tree..This picture makes me laugh, this was taken seconds before we walked out the gates.. we were tied, cold and the kids were exhausted they didn't even attempt to remove there Mickey Mouse ears..Drew didn't really care for the parade- she didn't want to get to close to the characters..Brody Hated the parade.. I don't think he liked how big everything was..They did like the cars, and the one thing they could climb on.. We attempted to go into Mickeys house with them but OMG !! it was sooooo hot in there and so many people we left, I later found out that the wait was because Micky Mouse was around the corner and you could have taken pictures with him.. DAM !!!

Mayer's Family Visit

The Mayers wernt able to come to Drew and Brody's BDay they had they son Derek's the same day.. so they came by today for a visit and to give them they gifts and we were able to give Derek's his gift.. It is so nice seeing them.. they are a great couple one who Mark has known almost his whole life... anyways they are great friends of are's... here is a shot of all four kids..

I havent had time to blog since last week so I am catching up right now.. Well I finally made it to one of Skylers soccer game- It was last Saturday it was the last one.. We got up early and walked up to the park with the kids.. we - I mean Mark pulled them in our wagon and they got to play with there cousins and friends, they had a great time and after the game we went down to the playground where Drew & Brody went down the slide.. they LOVED it... I was a beautiful day to be out and about with the kids... here is a picture of Skyler and the twins on game day..

Today I took the kids to Kiddie Kandid's again.. because I got them the cutest outfits for Thanksgiving.. and these adorable hats.. It is so hard for me to get a good picture of them together.. so I would just rather pay for someone else to take it for me.. and they did another great job.. How cute do they look in these shots... I am such a proud Mama....

We Celebrated my nephew Dylan's 4th bday on Tuesday at a place called Scooters Jungle.. this place was great it was a bunch of air blow-up things, we had such an awesome time..I mean the kids - the kids had an AWESOME Time..

Finally your Birthday present has been hung up.. Daddy put it up tonight so mommy can finally measure you two... I was so excited.. you two on the other hand werent really sure what was going on... It was right before bath and you both wanted to get in the water and I think we confused you by pinning you up against a board as I came at you with a pen, but anyways here you are...

Brody went first.. he was kinda hard to get because he gets so excited for bath time.. but we got it.., I had to crop out the picture so I didnt show anything...

Drew didnt mind it.. she started to play with daddy because she thought it was a game.. hahaha she is so funny and cute :)

"Harvest Day" in Ladera Ranch

It was a BEAUTIFUL Saturday afternoon and Ladera was holding there annual Harvest day festival.. so we decided to take the kids and have Nana Claire and Papa Jim meet us there for some fun.. Its rare when they get some time with just Drew and Brody...so I packed up a small picnic and brought our wagon there with all the stuff, umbrella, blankets, cooler full of beer and drinks and we were off.. they had pony rides and bounce houses ect.. but we really just went there to have a picnic they have had enough pony rides and I still am not to sure about the bounce houses so we just let them run all over the grass.. we picked a spot out of the way so they can just go.. and they had a blast..


Drew walked all over this field.. the only time she sat down is when she wanted something to drink or some kisses from Papa... By the way, her little tank top she is wearing was a dress for her back in July...


My sweet little guy, well he is still learning the whole walking thing, so he just walked with Daddy or sat with his Nana for some sweet time with her..


This is one of my favorite shots, Papa was kissing her on her head and she loved every minute of it.. and I think Papa did too... its not very often that Drew will sit long enough for you to cuddle her, so when she does- you take it..

and my "Cuddle Bug" Brody- well he found Nana and walked right up to her and sat on her lap for most of the day.. Brody just likes to be loved...and cuddled.. he doesn't ask for much.. I think Nana is enjoying herself with him as well..

One Year Check-Up....

Today finally you have your shots, I had to postpone them due to you guys getting sick and I didn't want to do them in the month of October because of all the things we had to do like, your birthday stuff, and Halloween so anyways here we are at the doctors getting you guys all taken care of, you both are in the 98% for height which is very cool and both 50% for weight... so far sol good but then you had your shots...( Three of them ) .. I felt so bad I can hardly look, daddy has to hold you two down and I get you after until you calm down.. I had you bottle waiting for you guys.. but you both did great again... You only cryed for a little while but then on the way out all better.. and Thank God, neither of you two had a reaction to the shots.. no fever or anything here are some pics of you guys with your new doctor.. whom we love..
