Today is such a sunny June day.. We had a little birthday party for my dad at there house.. We had such a great time... the kids played with there cousins.. which gave me and Mark some time to enjoy ourself as well.. Mark of course is on "Duty" today and had a couple of calls in between the party but was still able to enjoy some time with everyone as well..

Today is the first day I realized that my little guy is getting his teeth in.. I cant believe it.. It is so weird to see.. I never thought I would get use to them not having teeth and looking cute.. but now that they are coming in, it just is changing the way they look.. anyways.. here is a cute shot of me holding his bottom lip down..

After we left Skyler's dance recital it was off to home for Mark's birthday presents... and then dinner and then pie afterwards.. First we came back home to open his gifts up from the kids and I... so I plopped them into there Bumbo chairs and stuck them ontop of the table so they can see.. we got daddy skate bording stuff, so he can go to our skate park...

D+B really liked the wrapping paper...

and they both wanted to help daddy open his gifts...

Drew thought that it would be easier to use her teeth....

Safety first... we got daddy a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads...

and then we got his this really cool new board.. but after daddy opened it, he didnt know if he wanted to use it or not.. so I think he is going to put this in his garage and display it..This was the best shot I could get of the three of them..

After this we went out for the first time together as a family of four.. to "Urban Ty".. it was so good.. the guy had a problem taking a picture of the four of us.. he couldnt figure out how to snap the picture.. and yes Mommy was really annoyed at that.. so here is his best shot.. Drew - every time the flash went off you would close your eyes..
Then after dinner it was your bed time.. so when we got home we put you two in your PJ's and off to bed you went.. and after that Nana Claire, Papa Jim and The Vargas crew and Popejoy crew came over for some pie.. Mark doesnt like Cake so he gets pie for his birthday..

Skyler's Dance Recital.. "Believe"

Today was Skyler's first dance recital.. We got the kids ready and I also remembered to get them something to play with so they keep quiet.. We all seemed to arrive at the same time.. My parents, and brother & Family.. So once we got in I found out that I would be standing on the side with the kids, otherwise I would have to take them out of the stroller.. But Mark found some chairs and it turned out we all sat on the side by the door, it was pretty good seats.. As I was getting my camera out, I started to take some test shots for the lighting and this lady came up to me and told me there can’t be a flash on.. Are you kidding!!! I need my flash...so anyways, I thought if I got closer to the stage that it wouldn’t be so noticeable... But it was, so the lady gave me another look and I had to turn it off... However just for the record, there were people in the middle of the place taking pictures with a flash and no one said anything to them... But whatever, I did the best I could with juggling two kids and a camera with no flash in a dark room... this is what I got..

She is "Tap" dancing here... so cute !!!

Surprise.. "Daddy"

It was a "Hot" day today at we thought we would go to daddy's work and surprise him and wish him a "Happy Birthday" with some ice cream sandwiches.. First we ran to the store and got some "Ice Cream Sandwiches".. "Spiderman" napkins and a cute "Motorcycle" balloon and off we went, he was really surprised which is what we wanted and all the guys at work really enjoyed the ice cream treats..

Mark's First "Father's Day" 2007

Today was a fun day for us.. Mark had his first "Father's Day"... first we went to my parents house for lunch.. It was very eventful with all the kids together.. the little ones played together in the baby area.. aka.. the "Cage".. and then we all got to just relax and hang out with each other for a while...

These pictures make me laugh.. they are like the "Three Crazy Monkeys".. Sophia was sleeping at this time..

Then we decided before we left that we would put them on the swing for the "First" time.. and they loved it...Here is Drew's turn...Then after this we went home and relaxed for a little bit and then off to dinner with the "Iverson" group.. It was really good and the kids did really well, I was surprised I thought it was going to be harder than it was taking them to dinner with a group...

Bridget's Second Birthday... "The Irvine Lagoon"..

Today was Bridgets second birthday and we went to this place in Irvine called "The Lagoon".. you have to live there in order to get in.. They have this entire park area set up and then they have like a small beach with a salt water swim area.. I was so excited about going and taking the kids in the water there.. It was a beautiful hot summer day and perfect park weather..

First we layed out our blanket and set up camp for them.. They just started drinking out of the sippy cups and loving them.. Auntie Jamie bought Drew this little outfit with matching hat and socks.. It looked so cute on her and Brody is in one of Dylan/Talon's little outfit with matching surfer hat and socks.. They had such a great time sitting there and enjoying the outside..Drew got some Daddy time here.. Then it was time to get some air.. Brody's turn... to cute...Then after we had lunch it was time to get in the water.. I was so excited to see them and take pictures I kept running back and fourth with my camera..

Here is Daddy and Brody he got in first.. and loved sitting there.. Carla grabbed Drew for me so I could get a shot of them together.. Drew didnt like it at first.. incase you cant tell by the look on her face...

First Bath Together.....

Today we finally gave Drew & Brody there first bath together.. and they had a great time.. I was going back and fourth from Video taping them and taking picture's.. they were so cute together.. plus it makes bath time go a lot faster doing both at the same time... here are some of my favorite shots of them...
