Once again we got another late start on leaving the house to go to the beach today.. But even though I didn't think we were going to have enough time.. it turned out we had plenty of time.. I keep forgetting that the kids wont last hours somewhere .. we would be lucky if they last one hour.. So we took the Easy-Up, Blankets, Towels, Sunblock... ect and off to the beach on our way out of the neighborhood we ran into Ivy, Aaron and Baily and Ella who was also going to the beach so we followed each other there.. it was a perfect day to have you guys there.. We went to "Doheny" beach in Dana Point.. It was so nice were we were because there was not a lot of people so we could just let Drew and Brody play on there own..and that's exactly what they did..
This is them after I put extra "Sunblock" on them.. that's why they look greasy.. oops maybe to much sunblock..The sand really seemed to stick well to them to..
After that we let them explore on there own...
Then they came up to the water and just waited.. funny thing is.. it looks like they are sitting in the right spot..
Drew sees the wave coming at her.. but really its no where near them.. but she reacted like it was going to get her..
This is were she felt cheated and realized that the wave has gone away from her.. she was screaming at that wave ... it was to cute.. PS Brody never even saw the wave he has been concern this whole time over the sand on his foot and why its not coming off..
They sat there for a while until we couldn't take it anymore so we moved them up where they needed to be to feel the water.. and waited.. and waited.. it was getting really close to them but wouldn't actually get them..
Finally WATER... This was a proud "Daddy" moment.. I should have been taping him instead of the kids.. he was so happy at the fact that neither one of them was scared of the water coming up to them.. they actually went for it.. we had to go get them because neither of them stopped..
This shot was so great, Drew has stood up before but usually holding onto something.. out of nowhere she just stood up.. I was so happy for her...She did it!
