Chesapeake "Valentine's Day" Party

Saturday, February 9th, 2008

Today was a sunny, perfect day here in Ladera.. and we were off to Ivy and Aaron's house for some Valentine's fun.. normally we put them down for a nap at 11am.. and they usually sleep until 1pm.. but when there is something fun to do with all of there friends I usually change up there schedule like today I figured we would go down there until 12ish then come home and give them a nap...

I got them these cute little "Backpack's" from Potterybarn for Kids with there names on them.. There Valentine's Day are inside.. I put the boys in Brodys...

And the girls, in Drew's.. Hers was much heavier than Brody's so she didnt want to wear it.. but she did double check that they were all in there...

Ok, So after this picture we walked down to Ivy's.... Where she turned her garage into a craft area.. with all these little table's and chairs..

Brody and Drew sat together at the little table for "Two.. and here is discovering a lot of little velvet hearts...

and Drew was also looking at the hearts, but she decied to sort them out.. line them up that is..
After about 1 minute Brody decied that his hearts belong on the ground.. so he started throwing them everywhere.. then he went after Drew's..

and then.. "Lunch" Time.. Ivy made Jello hearts.. and Watermelon Hearts, and P & J sandwich Hearts.. It was so cute and the kids ate it up.. Mine enjoyed everything but the P& J's.. they cant have them just yet ...

and of course Drew wanted to leave right when I was taking all four of there picture...
OMG !!! Cupcake time....

Kim had put some frosting on Drew and Brody's cupcakes for them... which they were very Thankful for...Here are some of my favorite pictures of the day...

Drew didnt eat her cupcake either.. she just licked the frosting.. When she put it down.. Brody got it and in two bits it was gone..

Shortly after they were done with there cupcakes I notice that they discovered the "Sprinkle's"..
I also noticed that Brody not only had his cupcake.. and Drew's cupcake that he just stole Ella's cupcake and was taking off with the "Sprinkle's" on top of that..

When I got back with the "Sprinkle's" that Brody took off with I came back to this... Needless to say.. they all had a great time, and I think that Ivy is going to be picking up "Sprinkle's" in her garage for weeks to come..
