Dying "Easter Egg's"......

Today I decied that we were going to dye our eggs since this weekend we have a lot going on..So I bought two kinds of kits, one that looked fun was the "Sesame Street" one and since they love Elmo & Zoey I thought it would be cute and looked easy..
Then I got this one.. you put the egg in a bag with some dye a swirl it around.. I thought that this one would be perfect for them, because there was no way I was going to let them drop an egg into the dye...
So I dyed the ones that they get to put there "Sesame Street" stickers on.. and I couldnt believe how bright they came out.... I used Lemon juice in it this year and not only did they smell good look at how "Bright" they are....

Ok, So Here is Brody with his egg, I had put the egg in the baggie that it comes with then put that into a zip lock baggie and thank god I did.. Brody was so excited with the egg that he smashed it over and over again on the island then threw it to the ground.. I couldnt believe it..
Drew, did it correct.. she rolled it around and swirled the color, then placed it on the island infront of her when she was done with it.. This is Brody on his second egg.. notice his hands arnt holding it.. that is because he just threw it and daddy didnt catch it in time before it hit the island...Back to Drew on her second egg.. concentrating on making the perfect egg.. and she did a great job.. So here is what "Brody's Egg's" looked like when he was finished...he added a very nice cracked and smashed look to his....very artsy...

And here is "Drew's Egg's".. They were perfectly "Swirled".. Just like the picture on the box...Look at how "Beautiful" and "Bright" all of the eggs are... I dont know if it's the lemon juice or this year they up the dye amount in the tablets but WOW......They looked neon...
So after the first project after dinner when the eggs dried I let them attempt to decorate the eggs that I dyed...

As you can see.. It really didnt work out the way I wanted it to with Brody.. First you can see the dye in his mouth- Yep he tryed to eat the egg.. then I gave him the stickers to put on the egg.. and he tryed to eat them to.. I think I might have confused him a little bit.. so I took it away from him..

and he wasnt very happy about that...Then I gave Drew a shot at it.. and she got it, she put the stickers on the egg and was very excited about it.. I love this picture because I always say how she doesnt look like me and I keep trying to find a little of me in her and I did.. This is what I do with my tongue when I am doing something..
