Well today is Drew & Brody's "2nd" Birthday party and last night one of my best friend's "Norma" came over to help me get everything ready... This year since I just had "Jaden" and only three weeks after having a "C-Section" I decided that I would have the party at our house instead of lugging everything over to the park and man was I glad that I had it at my house... Of course it was totally HOT... it was suppose to be a nice cool day but nope high 80's to 90's... I had everything that I could delivered such as the balloons, tables, bounce house and pizza... I tryed to make it as easy as I possible could... I believe the kids had a great time with all of there wonderful friends who came to celebrate with them... We definitely had a house full...
The "Cake" Story... The cake was suppose to look just like the invitation above, everything from the "Admit One" to the "Bar Code" at the bottom... I went and ordered it from "French's Bakery" and it and the cupcakes were suppose to be ready by 7am for pick-up... So I got there late around 7:30am and first they showed me the cupcakes which where totally wrong, but I wasn't going to get upset because the big thing was the cake... and then they looked over to the baker and he says " I haven't Started it yet"... I wanted to cry... ( The reason why I wanted to cry was I left my husband at home with the twins, and Jaden thinking I was going to be right back ) he says to me that it will be ready at 8 am... I was totally pissed... and there was nothing that I could do... right at 8 am my phone rings and its Mark- as I answer the call I hear Jaden crying in the background the twins are screaming and running everywhere and then I hear the tone of my husbands voice asking me where I am... that the bounce house guy is there and he needs to move the cars so he can set up the bounce house... I was so upset because he was early and wasn't suppose to be there until 10 am... I couldn't believe it as I explained to Mark that the cake wasn't done I quickly said to put the guy on the phone and said either you wait or come back in half hour... He was very nice and said he would wait... Thank God... Anyways, around 8:15am he handed me this cake... Does this look like my invitation... The baker says to me that he couldn't make my cake the way I wanted it, long story short I didn't have to pay for the cake I made them redo the cupcakes they way I wanted them and I am never going back to this bakery again...

The kids are suppose to pull the strings and let the candy out only Mark had another idea, instead of the kids doing it he decided to pull them all at the same time then opens it with his hands and dumps the candy... Next year I think I will just give Mark a bag of candy and let him just throw it at the kids... Hahahaha
"Happy Birthday" Time...
We gave the kids each a "Cupcake"...
Drew was very careful eating hers and Brody well... He love's his "Sugar", like his mommy... so he went to town on his cupcake...
He looked like "Elmo"... and this red stained him to...But he loved every minute of it... and so did I...
