Ok, so today or I should say this morning we have been getting pre-pared for over three weeks now... to have Drew's "Right" eye duck opened up so her eye wont get an infection... This would have been the first time we would have to have one of our babies put under anesthesia... Which both Mark and I have been dreading but just wanted to get it over with.. Well this morning Nana Darlene meet us at the house at 6:30 am and while I was going over the feeding schedule for Jaden with Nana Darlene Drew took her little lunch box that I had packed for her after surgery and put an "Elmo" cookie in her mouth... They are about the size of a nickle... i looked at Mark and said "Hey- She's Not Suppose To Have ANYTHING"... He ran over to her opened her mouth and took out the little cookie and we both thought... SH*T !!! So once we got there the first question they asked was... "She didn't have anything to eat- Right"... and than we explained the situation to the nurse who just looked at us like... "Ohhh... I will have to ask the anesthesiologist he wants to continue... To make this long story short... He did not want to continue with it... He went on to explain that the number one problem with children being under is any food in there stomach... so of course we arnt going to risk anything for an "Eye Surgery" ... So we went home and enjoyed the day together... Until next month when we get to do this little trip all over again...
