Today is the day that we are taking Drew down to get her "Ear's Pierced", we had to wait until her 6 month shots for her to get them done.. and daddy said lets go get them done, he was excited to do this..which I have to admit I was surprised that he wanted to get them done.. so I called "Ben Bridge" and asked them if they did it there, they said no only "Claire's" does it.. so we went downstairs and signed her up..
There was a man getting his ear's pierced but then she was next.. so while we were waiting I got there bottles ready so after she can calm down with her milk.. Once it was our turn I asked who was experienced with babies and they said the manager and so she came up with a plan that she will have another girl come up and they will do it at the same time.. I was like OK.. whatever works, the girl who came up was our neighbor "Sam's" daughter.. we don't see her that often but she recognized us and was like hey aren't you my neighbors... but anyways she was the "Other Girl"... Daddy was holding her and looking like maybe we shouldn't do this.. - While we were outside he looks and says are you sure about this.. I had to laugh because I could see him getting nervous.. but for some reason I was totally fine.. I mean come on its just ear's.. Drew was so Happy playing on her daddy's lap.. laughing..and being cute.. And her Daddy even picked out her first pair of earring.. we got the "Titanium" ones that had a beautiful blue crystal on them.. daddy says they match her eye's..so cute
So the girls marked Drew as where they should go..
and then we were ready.. they came up to her on both sides and.. on the count of three... ONE, TWO, THREE..
Hummmm... only the manager pierced her side.. our neighbor girl, well she "said" she couldn't get over Mark's arm...not per the picture below..looks like she had a clear shot to me.. so now I have a screaming ... child.. that is turning "Red" and we now have to do the other side.. So I grabbed her and calmed her down but then had to give her back to Mark..you cant have just one ear pierced..
So the manager looking pretty upset asked her to leave and she looked at Mark and he was like " JUST DO IT".. NOW.. and so she did..
Afterwards I gave her a bottle and she calmed down right away..
Now Brody on the other hand took a little longer to calm down.. he got so upset when she started to scream that he started to scream and I had to take care of Drew so he was really .. really upset and after a couple of minutes he finally calmed down too.. Love that brotherly love..
But as you can see .. he is also fine.. and no he is "Not" getting his ears pierced... EVER...
